Our Mission
At WARP CORE, our mission is to promote the educational and recreational aspects of rocketry to enthusiasts of all ages. Located in Grand Junction, Colorado, we are dedicated to fostering a community where members can learn, share, and advance their skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Our History
Founded on February 11, 2024, WARP CORE has quickly grown into a thriving community of rocketry enthusiasts. Our journey began with a small group of passionate individuals who saw the need for a dedicated space where hobbyists could come together, learn, and launch. Since then, we've been soaring to new heights, expanding our membership, and making a mark in the local community and beyond.
Leadership Team
Our club is led by a dedicated team of volunteer members who bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for rocketry.
President: Rob Daugherty - Rocket enthusiast and NAR level 1
Vice President: Josh Sickles - Rocket enthusiast and NAR/ TRA level 3
Treasurer: Nick Durand - Rocket enthusiast and NAR level 1
Secretary: Ben Graybeal - Rocket enthusiast and NAR level 2
Range Safety Officer (RSO): Any officer
Technical Safety Officer (TSO): None at this time
Community Outreach
We believe in giving back to the community and inspiring the next generation of rocketeers. Our outreach programs include:
Educational workshops in local schools and community centers.
Public launch events to showcase the excitement of rocketry.
Participation in charity events and STEM fairs.
